FRIENDS, PEACE, AND SANCTUARY PROJECT

During the Fall 2018 semester, I participated in the Friends, Peace, and Sanctuary Project (FPS). This project sought to foster a sense of belonging for refugees from Syria and Iraq who had been resettled to the Philadelphia area through art-based workshops. I was a participant in the "Sticky Family" workshop, where I formulated stories for a graphic novel.
